Located in the heart of West Chelsea, JARVISSTUDIO was asked to develop the condominium’s shared spaces: Lobby, Amenity Lounge and Children’s Playroom. In juxtaposition to the concrete interior finishes, we introduced a variety of wood materials, creating a warm and inviting Lounge area for reading and casual conversation. Taking inspiration from California's mid-century modern houses, an original Soriana sofa by Tobia Scarpa, along with a pair of Finn Juhl Pelican Chairs are prominently featured. At one of the Entry vestibules, we placed a pair of Pierre Jeanneret Kangaroo chairs beneath a photo by Olaf Otto Becker, punctuating the dramatic staircase that leads to the upper level.
